Winter impressions from Riederalp

Photos taken during a bitterly cold week in January, with lots of fresh snow, clear air, and scenic clouds. By chance this happened to be the week of the full moon, and incidentally also the last bloodmoon for the next couple of years.

Staying on Riederalp, in the middle of the Swiss Alps on about 2000 m asl allows to experience incredibly beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Some very scenic 360° viewpoints are safely accessible with less than an hour's hike, even at night.
